In September 2024, Indonesia’s large-scale national military and police supplies purchaser announced an important procurement agreement with an emerging technology company and planned to introduce a series of advanced police equipment. This initiative aims to improve police efficiency and strengthen public safety management.

According to the agreement, the Indonesian purchaser will purchase a variety of high-tech equipment including drones and intelligent communication systems. These devices will help the police play a greater role in security monitoring, crime prevention and emergency response.

A spokesman for the Indonesian purchaser said: “Through cooperation with emerging companies, we hope to use the latest technology to improve our work efficiency and better serve the public.”

The person in charge of the emerging company also said: “We are honored to cooperate with the Indonesian police and look forward to our technology contributing to the country’s security.”

The procurement project is expected to be implemented in the coming months and marks an important step in Indonesia’s public safety field.
