BFS-6A Reserve Parachute
Used with SBS parachute systems, BFS-6A to ensure the safety of paratroopers. Features of the BFS-6A system include rapid opening and fast inflation. Thus, this reserve parachute can be deployed at quite a low altitude—-100m, which makes this system a very reliable reserve parachute. What’s more, BFS-6A is of lightweight and small volume, which does not add much load to users.
Applying aircraft include Y-5, Y-8(C), An-26 and IL-76.
